Our good friends John and Kymberlee tied the knott!! We celebrated thier long awaited union in Cabo, Mexico. It was a beautiful day:)

The lovely Konstantin and Darja's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour...

 

This is the first of a few postings from Konstantin and Darja's wedding.....this post is of our arrival, the bride and groom getting ready, and thier seeing each other for the first time .....I am so in love with this wedding. Not only because of the venue and details, but because the bride and groom were increadably sweet and gracious. Darja is an amazing interior designer who chose the historic Rumene Manor because of it's diverse and eclectic style. James and I were constantly inspired throughout the entire 20 hour wedding day:)).

This wedding was special to me for many reasons. Although it's been quite a few years since I've seen Samantha and her family, they were a big part of my childhood. Her dad Stan was my swim coach for over 15 years and Sam's mom Wendy was a mentor to me through high school. I spent many nights babysitting Sam and her two brothers Clayton and Zack, I can't believe how time has flown bye. It's wonderful to see Sam all grown up and such a pleasure to photograph her wedding:).

The lovely couple Michelle and Jonathan were married at the Loomis Flower Farm. The day was filled with laughter, good wine, wonderful food and amazing people. Michelle is an English teacher and Jonathan sells specialty wines, so books and bottles were a theme throughout the decor, which I thought was super sweet......James and I had such a good time capturing thier special day:)

This is what makes my job all worth it.....Thank you Michelle and Jonathan for your thoughtful card. I appriciate every word:))

Michelle is a friend and wonderful photographer based in San Luis Obispo. Her son Cash and my son are a month apart and she is 8 months pregnant with her second. She was such a champ to chase after Cash around through the sand and waves.....many thanks Michelle!!
